Choir Fundraising Project Refurbishing Donated Jewelry
PostedA Choir Fundraising Project has been approved for an ongoing project to benefit Edmond First United Methodist Choir. Funds generated from this project will be used for acquisitions of new music, additional musicians for special choir programs and presentations.
We will begin collecting old and broken jewelry to be given a new life. We will repair broken jewelry, or dismantle and make new jewelry items. The new jewelry will be sold periodically. We will also welcome requests for custom designed pieces of jewelry, such as clip earrings, or special color jewelry pieces or for special occasion gifts. We will gladly accept any monetary donations to help defray costs of jewelry making and sale packaging supplies. Any member of the church with jewelry making experience who would like to participate in the jewelry making days, or give jewelry making classes is welcome and encouraged to be part of this exciting new choir fundraising project
When donations of old jewelry are made, please take a few minutes to include any information about the life of the original jewelry owner, or fun places the jewelry has been worn. We would like to pass that Legacy Jewelry Information along to the new owner, and give honor to previous women of our church, their friends and family members who have so graciously and generously shared their jewelry for the benefit of the choir.
Also, PLEASE include information of the “giving” person, so that we may provide a charitable donation receipt for your CHARITABLE GIVING tax deductible reporting purposes.
Old Jewelry donations may be given to any choir member, mailed to the church, left in the church office, You may also call Linda Millington Walls at 755-1555 who will make arrangements to pick up your donation. Thanks for your love, prayers and support for the future growth and excellence of the music program and it’s blessings to our wonderful congregation at the Edmond First United Methodist Church
