Our choir was established many years ago. With the church having several different services, it can seem like there are two choirs instead of one. Even though not everyone sings at both, we are one big family of singers. Because of this family atmosphere, we continue to grow in numbers and are constantly learning new songs and developing new ensembles which are open to anyone, not just the choir. We have a goal of having 60-75 in the choir in the future.

We sing at various community functions, churches and have two road trips planned this spring to sing at events at other United Methodist Churches.  Our goal is to continue to have road trips where the choir takes the gospel in song to other cities in OK and possibly Branson, Mo to minister there. We want to touch heart in a way that permanently changes lives not just be the entertainment for the evening.

God has not only given us the opportunity to bless others but also to be blessed by all of the people we meet.

We practice Sunday evenings at 5:00 pm and Wednesday evenings at 7:15 pm in the choir room in the basement of the historical building. You may attend the choir practice of  your choice.  Many of our choir members sing the Anthem at both the 8:30 and 11:00 am worship services. Come join us make a joyful noise to the Lord!

This is just the choir, of course. We have the hand-bells which Claudia Hampton directs, and the children’s choir which is directed by John and Karen Hudgens.
