New Classes Launching March 26

The Gathering is a multi-generational faith formation experience designed to deepen our spiritual lives through Grow Groups focused on faith and discipleship.

Join us in the Christian Activity Center for Community Dinner from 5:00–6:00 P.M. (meal provided, or bring your own). Grow Groups meet at 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M., offering engaging discipleship for all ages. Attend as you’re able—we’re always glad to have you!

Sign up online or outside the east Sanctuary doors through March 26th. No sign-up required to attend.

We will not have the Gathering on April 16th during Holy Week. May 21st will be our End of Year Bash and Multi-Generational Kickball Tournament.

  • Nursery

    Directed by Megan Borum

    Infants and Toddlers 

    Our Infant & Toddler Care program offers a warm, loving, and safe environment for your little ones while you attend your adult class on Wednesday evenings. Infants and toddlers will receive personalized care and attention from our experienced team, ensuring they feel secure and loved. With age-appropriate activities such as gentle play, sensory exploration, and storytime, children will enjoy a calm yet engaging atmosphere tailored to their developmental needs. Parents can focus on their class, knowing their young ones are in trusted hands, enjoying a peaceful evening of care and nurturing.

  • Tiny Wonders: Play & Learn for 2s & 3s

    Two and Three Year Old Children

    We offer a fun, safe, and nurturing environment for your little ones while you attend your adult class on Wednesday evenings. Our dedicated childcare team provides age-appropriate activities designed to engage and entertain toddlers, including interactive games, creative play, songs, and crafts. With a focus on socialization, early learning, and emotional development, children will enjoy a structured yet playful atmosphere. Parents can relax and focus on their class, knowing their children are in caring hands.

  • Workshop of Wonders

    Directed by Megan Borum

    Preschool through Kindergarten

    Workshop of Wonders is a joyful, engaging class designed for four year old and kindergarten-aged children. This fun-filled program offers a balanced mix of structured group activities and free exploration, where children will experience 30 minutes of Children's Choir, singing songs that nurture their love for music and introduce them to leading in worship. The second half of the class, the Workshop of Wonders, focuses on hands-on learning and faith formation, featuring Bible stories, prayer, devotions, and STEM activities that spark curiosity and creativity. Each session is thoughtfully designed to foster spiritual growth and developmental skills through playful learning, helping little ones grow in faith and wonder.

  • First Kids Academy

    Directed by Megan Borum

    Grades 1 - 5

    Discipleship, Play, and Music. Fun activities and 30-minute rotations. Children will choose a new class every 4-6 weeks.  The first two options are LEGO Master Class and Kids Fiber Art Class.

    Minute to Win It Challenge

    Leader: Erin Lothert

    Get ready for a fast-paced and hilarious adventure in our Minute to Win It Challenges class! Based on the popular TV show, this class is all about having fun with super silly and exciting challenges using everyday household items. Whether it’s stacking cups, balancing pencils, or racing to move objects with a spoon, every challenge is timed—so the pressure is on!

    Each week will feature a new theme, bringing fresh and funny twists to the activities. Kids will compete individually or in teams, trying to beat the clock and their friends in a series of mini-games that will have everyone laughing.

    Who will be the ultimate champion? Come for the laughs, the fun, and the thrill of a one-minute race against time! It’s the perfect place to test your skills, make new friends, and enjoy a great time with others. Are you up for the challenge? Let the games be

    Faux Stain Glass

    Unleash your child’s creativity in this fun and relaxing class where kids in 1st-5th grade will learn the art of crochet and explore other fiber art techniques! From making a cute bumblebee to colorful creations, each week students will dive into the world of yarn, thread, and fabric to craft beautiful, one-of-a-kind projects. The class is designed to be a creative, hands-on experience where kids can unwind, express themselves, and build their skills in a supportive and fun environment. Whether they’re learning to crochet for the first time or experimenting with new materials, this class is all about creativity, relaxation, and fun!

  • Children's Choir

    Cherub Choir: Preschool through Kindergarten

    Junior Choir: Grades 1 - 5

    Children’s Choirs provide fun and age appropriate activities that focus on worship arts. Instruments, singing, and movement are used to encourage rhythm development, listening skills, and self expression. Most important is for children to experience their part in leading worship at Edmond First United Methodist Church. The Children’s Choirs participate by learning musical responses (Gloria, Doxology, Benediction, etc.) and preparing anthems for worship several times a year. 

  • Youth Group

    Directed by Rev. Jamison Rudd

    Mid-High and Senior High Groups

    Dive into discipleship, games, and community formation with our new Associate Pastor and Director of Student Ministries, Rev. Jamison Rudd. This is an excellent place for adolescents to grow in their faith and make new friends, all while having fun!

    Join Rev. Dr. Tiffany Nagel Monroe for a journey through Lent and into spiritual transformation. This study is intended for those desiring to deepen their faith, actively engage the world around them, and move beyond simply having faith in Jesus to embodying the faith of Jesus. Together we will do the work of cultivating a faith that reflects Jesus’s boldness and love, while expanding the possibilities of our spiritual lives.

  • True North Creations: prop workshop - 6pm

    Join us on Wednesday nights for a fun, hands-on group where creativity meets community! As we prepare for Vacation Bible School’s True North theme set in the wild beauty of Alaska, we’ll be building, painting, and organizing props to bring the adventure to life. Whether you’re a crafting pro or just love the idea of making something special, this class is the perfect place to learn new skills, connect with others, and make a real difference in the lives of the kids who will experience VBS.

    We’ll be working together to create everything from rustic Alaskan cabins to snowy mountain peaks, bringing the True North theme to vibrant life. You don’t need to be a master artist—just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to get your hands a little dirty! It’s a relaxed and fun space where you can chat, laugh, and maybe even discover some hidden crafting talents.

    Get to know new friends, contribute to a meaningful cause, and use your creativity to build something amazing. All skill levels are welcome. No experience necessary—just a good attitude and a love for hands-on fun!

    Welcome to Parent University, a fun and engaging space where parents come to learn, grow, and build community! Whether you’re navigating the world of Kindergarten Readiness or looking for ways to raise independent kids, we’ve got something for everyone. Each Wednesday, we dive into a different topic that’s designed to make parenting a little easier and a lot more enjoyable.

    Topics include:

    Kindergarten Readiness: Preparing your child for their big first day.

    Let Them Do It: Encouraging independence and life skills in your little ones.

    1000 Hours Outside: Ideas and tips for screen-free outdoor fun.

    Love and Logic: An overview of this proven approach to raising responsible kids.

    …and so much more! You can choose to attend just the classes that interest you, or join us for the entire series—whatever works best for you. It’s not only a chance to pick up valuable parenting tips, but also an opportunity to connect with other parents, share experiences, and build lasting friendships.

  • what happened to the jews? 6pm

    Rev. Paul Hamilton asks the question, “what happened to the Jews?”

    We Will examine the journey of the Jewish people after the destruction of the Jewish Temple in 135 C.E. to their return to Palestine in 1948. Rev. Hamilton will highlight why negative attitudes of the Christian church contributed to the rise of anti-semitism. In addition, we will explore why modern European assimilation toward Jews eventually failed and led to the rise of the Zionist movement.
